Mission: We carry out our mission by Contacting Families regularly; Assisting one another as needed; Relating to one another intentionally; and Encouraging one another in our daily living and in our spiritual walk with Jesus Christ.

OUr Mission
The mission of the Deacons Ministry of 1st G Baptist Church is to minister to the body of Christ and assist the Pastor with the work of the ministry related to congregational care.
Our Deacons manage many of our ministries that care for the growth and well being of our members. See a list of their ministries and contact them with any questions.
Our Vision
Our vision is to be Servant Leaders to the congregational at 1st G by
visiting and serving the sick and shut-ins, widows and orphans, and the members who are experiencing
hardships.
Core Values
Commitment
As a Deacon at 1st G, we are Committed to the Office of Deacons according to the qualifications in 1 Timothy 3: 8-13.
Faithfulness
As a Deacon at 1st G, we are Faithful to our assignments with participation in service (i.e. Wednesdays, Sundays, and Church Events).
Accountability
As a Deacon at 1st G, we are Accountable for our every word and action.
Deacon's Wives
The Deacon's wives aid their husbands in the ministering to the body of Christ and assisting with Pastor with the work of the ministry related to congregational care.
